We Provide Permanency for Children:

We Specialize in Youth Care:

Since 2001, 271 youth (12 years and up) have been cared for and raised by Bridgeway Foster families. Of the youth currently in care with Bridgeway, 85% are Crown Wards experiencing stability, support services and leadership skills for their future.

We Keep Siblings Together:

As of 2001, Bridgeway families have welcomed 313 sets of siblings (sets of 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 siblings are being served). Bridgeway has intentionally recruited and developed sibling foster homes who are approved, trained and equipped to foster sibling groups only. We are committed to welcoming brothers and sisters into care without experiencing the trauma of being separated. Keeping families together is the goal of our sibling foster homes.

We Specialize in Caring for Children with Complex Care Needs:

In 2010, 56% of the total in-care population with Bridgeway is receiving treatment foster care services through one of the three customized foster care programs that serves children/youth with special needs: Parent Model Plus, Mixed Modality, or Mixed Modality Plus Programs. Bridgeway specializes in providing care for children/youth afflicted with FASD, PDD, Autism, Medical Disorders, ADHD, ODD, Anxiety, Depression, and other social, emotional and behavioural challenges.
