Customized Services available within the PMP, MM, and MMP programs can include the following:
- Academic Coaches
- Addiction Counseling Services
- Additional in-home support and training
- Additional and specialized Foster Parent training
- Behavioural Specialist assessments and treatment intervention
- Clinical Assessments and Counselling
- Consistent relief services
- FASD Family Coaches and FASD Program Specialist
- Pro-Youth group programs (life skills, social skills)
- Program Consultants (grief & loss, health, Autism)
- Specialized camps
- Therapeutic pre-school programs
- Therapeutic recreational activities
Assessments and Outcome Data
CAFAS (Child & Adolescent Functional Assessment Scale) are completed upon admission for children 6 years and older and at an every six month interval. CAFAS aggregate reports provide Bridgeway with a means to compile collective data of program effectiveness based on reliable outcome measures.
Emergency After-Hours Foster Homes
Bridgeway has a group of experienced foster homes representing each geographical area to provide emergency after-hours admissions to best serve our placing agency partners.
Relief/ Respite Services
Bridgeway has a well established community of relief homes available to support families in all geographical areas across Ontario. Our relief homes have vacancies for all ages and will accommodate sibling groups as well as children/youth with special needs.
Relief homes are thoroughly screened, approved, supervised and supported. Many Relief Foster Parents are trained and have experience working with children/youth with FASD, ADHD, PDD/Autism, ODD/Conduct Disorder and other special needs.
